By Air
The nearest international airport is at Edinburgh, which is about one hour from Strathkinness by car.

By Car
From the south, turn off the M90 on to the A91 and follow the signs for St Andrews.  On leaving Guardbridge, take the first right signposted for Strathkinness.  Immediately on entering Strathkinness take the first right.  Travel west for approximately 1/2 a mile until you reach the signpost for "Newton of Nydie Bed and Breakfast".  Turn right and follow the lane for approximately 1 mile, right to the bottom.
Alternatively, turn off the M90 on to the A92, turning right on to the A91 for St Andrews.  On leaving Guardbridge, take the first right signposted for Strathkinness.  Immediately on entering Strathkinness take the first right.  Travel west for approximately 1/2 a mile until you reach the signpost for "Newton of Nydie Bed and Breakfast".  Turn right and follow the lane for approximately 1 mile, right to the bottom.
From the north, cross the Tay Bridge and follow the A914 and signs for St Andrews.  On leaving Guardbridge, take the first right signposted for Strathkinness.  Immediately on entering Strathkinness take the first right.  Travel west for approximately 1/2 a mile until you reach the signpost for "Newton of Nydie Bed and Breakfast".  Turn right and follow the lane for approximately 1 mile, right to the bottom.

By Train
Alight at Leuchars Station on the main east coast Edinburgh to Aberdeen line.  From there, Strathkinness is a ten minute ride by car.   Taxis are always available at the station.
